Last minute summer dip at Club Manila East (Taytay, Rizal) #GSummerFun

Before summer ended, me and my family were fortunate to experience Club Manila East for free. Best part of this experience is the limited number of individuals present in the resort, which was exclusive to company employees and their family.

CME is a must for NCR folks looking for a quick family (water) getaway. There are different types of pools and activities for everyone. We spent most of our time in the Kiddie Pool since we brought our kids.

They also enjoyed the OceanWaves and BeachWaves Pools.

For the adventurous type you can do kayak, giant slide, surf(*) and zip line(*) and the death defying OceanWaves Diving Area (insert my youtube video here). Other pools include the lap pool, bean pool, shaded pool and buzzy river.

Caveat though, security is so so if the place is public so better not bring valuables or just use the locker. Cabanas and cabins are available albeit not well maintained. Also heard that overnight accommodations are subpar and food is not as good as your favorite resto food. Pinoys love bbq or liempo or hotdog with rice (I think that will do). In short CME is best enjoyed as day tour (hopping from pool to pool). Food is pricey because it is a theme (water) park nevertheless you have no choice but to eat inside (or you can go out to eat and come back which is no fun).
